I will admit that I am in love with watching Paula’s Home Cooking on the Food Network cable channel. I have become addicted to the Food Network as it is, and really struggled last year when I did not get the channel for several months. Once I decided to make the switch to direct tv offers, I got Food Network back and set my dvr to record all of my favorite cooking shows. What I love most about Paula Deen is her personality throughout the show. She clearly enjoys life and loves cooking, and I love listening to her tell stories about her family. Her food looks absolutely incredible, and the few recipes of hers I have made myself were positively delicious. Even though Paula has become a worldwide success, I enjoy knowing that it took a lot of hard work for her to get there. While it could have gone to her head, it seems that she is very down-to-earth. She has a talent for showing how to make impressive dishes without the steps feeling overwhelming. I have watched her do guest spots on a number of other shows as well, and she is always entertaining. She seems to have a full heart and joy for life that I would love to develop for myself.
